Bendigo Health
The Bug-In is part of the Easter Festival which supports Bendigo Health. The Bug-In Show n Shine will be by gold coin donation with proceeds going to Sanctuary for Kids, a Bendigo Health initiative. In addition all profits from the other Bug-In events will be donated to support Sanctuary for Kids. view brochure

Day One
Registration and afternoon tea at the Foundry Hotel in the Sterling Room
3.30pm to 5.30pm.
Afternoon tea will be self serve tea and coffee, homemade cakes and biscuits and hot cross buns. Beverages other than tea and coffee at own cost.

Welcome Dinner at the Foundry Hotel in the Platinum Room
6.00pm to 10.00pm
Set two course menu, garlic bread on tables, self serve tea and coffee, soft drink for children free, other beverages at own cost.

Day Two
Show and Shine to be held in the centre of the city on Bridge Street
9.00am to 1.00pm.
Trophy categories to be announced. Only Bug-In registered vehicles will be eligible for judging and trophies.
- Venue: Bridge Street located in the centre of Bendigo. view map
- Time: 9.00am to 1.00pm.
- Cost: Car entry and public viewing entry by gold coin donation, or $20 per car if the show and shine is the only Bug-In registered event.

Day Three
Motor sport activities at The Bagshot Motorsports Complex
9.00am to 3.00pm.
Activities include Motorkhana, and Khanacross and a novelty event for members to tryout low level motorsport (CAMS licence not required for novelty event). A swap site will operate during the event.
- Venue: The Bagshot Motorsports Complex. view map
- Time: 9.00am to 3.00pm.
- Cost: Motor sport entrants fee is $50.00 providing access to all events, lunch and refreshments. Swap sites are $25.00 per site. Spectators $5.00 per person (children under 16 YO free) and includes entry to the novelty event only.
An S2 CAMS licence will be required for the Motorkhana, and Khanacross events. A licence can be purchased on the day. The Supplementary regulations form needs to be completed and submitted prior to participating in any of the motorsport events.

Presentation Dinner at the All Seasons Bendigo Quality Resort in the Fernery Room
7.00pm to 12.00pm
Starting with pre-dinner drinks (included in costs) with hot and cold savories, followed by a carvery style two course meal (main course and dessert) with tea and coffee to close off an evening of dining and dancing to the Corvettes a well known local band playing 60s, 70s and 80s music, lucky door prizes and some surprises that will ensure a great night for all.
The night will include the presentation of trophies.

- Cost: Presentation dinner cost per adult $40.00, children under 12 YO - $15.00.

Day Four
Gala Easter Parade through the streets of Bendigo
11.00am to 2.00pm.
The City of Bendigo is hosting the Bendigo Easter Festival and the 2009 Bug-In is part of the festival.
The Festival is the longest running community festival in Australia and the Gala Parade on Easter Monday is the Highlight of this iconic event.
The Bendigo Easter Fair Committee has invited the 2009 Bug-In Committee to enter 12 Volkswagens in the parade to represent the Marque and celebrate the contribution the 2009 Bug-In has made to the Easter Festival.
- Venue: The City of Bendigo. Line-up starts in Myers St. view map
- Time: Access to Myers St - 10.30 am. 12 pm start.
Nominated vehicles will be selected and advised during the course of the Bug-In activities.
Farewell Afternoon Tea at the Bendigo Rowing Club on the shores of Lake Weeroona
2.30pm to 4.00pm.

- Time: 2.30pm to 4.00pm.
- Cost: $6.50 per head, including tea and coffee. Soft drinks will be available for $1.00 per can.
After the parade, come and say a final farewell to all those members heading for home. Enjoy the hospitality of the Volksclub Bendigo on the shores of picturesque Lake Weeroona.
Entertainment will include DVDs and a special display of collectibles provided by Volksclub members.

Day Five
The Eastern Victorian VWCV Inc. Tour 2009
8.00am.
The tour is a 5 day road trip that covers a distance of around 1460km and showcases the wonderful sights of four key geographic assets of Victoria, namely The Murray River, The Gold Fields, The High Country and The Tasman Sea.
- Time: 8.00am.
- Cost:$15.00 per attendee. register for this event
The tour will take us north from Bendigo to the mighty Murray River and through a number of its historic river trade towns, east to the Snowy River country so famous in Australian folklore, south-west to the northern Victorian goldfields where fortunes were won and lost so long ago, up and over Victoria's highest mountain and its premier snowfields, south to the East Gippsland ocean, sun and beaches then west to the most liveable city in the world; Melbourne.
